This Privacy Policy explains how NexPad ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application. NexPad is designed to turn your Android device into a wireless hardware Bluetooth mouse/trackpad for your computer.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information.

All touch gestures, cursor movements, and click inputs are processed locally on your device and transmitted directly to your paired computer via standard Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile emulation. None of this data is sent to us or any third parties.

2. Permissions Requested

To function as a Bluetooth mouse, NexPad requires the following permissions. We use these permissions solely to establish and maintain a Bluetooth connection with your computer:

• Bluetooth / Bluetooth Connect / Bluetooth Scan (Android 12+): Required to scan for and connect to paired devices (your computer) using the Bluetooth HID profile.
• Location Access (Android 11 and older): Required by the Android operating system to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. Location data is processed locally by the system and is never collected or stored by NexPad.

3. Data Security

Since we do not collect any personal data or transmit information over the internet, your inputs remain secure and private. The communication between your Android device and your computer is encrypted and secured by the standard Android Bluetooth stack.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
